We enjoyed our time in the Daintree then we went to a place called Paronella Park which is the ruins of a spanish Castle. The first owner built all the castle after he came to Australia as a young man. He built all of it using materials he found in & around the area

Denis June & Roberta at Rollinhstone which is about 55kms north of Townsville. We had a wonderful time for a week here with June & Denis. We loved the park & the surrounds. We are seen here at morning tea time ( note the scones ) We went to the paluma Ranges one day walked about 1.5 klm walk up the range & back so got our exercise that day. We also went to Frosty Mango that day on the way back what devine ice cream & yoguart  We also had a day in Townsville June & I got lost in the shopping centre & had to come outside & walk all around the outside till we found the car & Denis & Keith. It was great to see someone from home.

We then moved to Airlie Beach & Shute Harbour for 1 night

We came on to Sarina after we left Airlie Beach for 1 night here are some of the statues in the park at Sarina

taken today on our way to Rockhampton where we are staying for 2 nights.  So as you see we are having a good time alough at times we miss home believe it or not. anyhow that is all fvor now Love Roberta & Keith

Our resident peacock in the park at Wonga Beach
Port Douglas Beach. We leave here tomorrow for Paronella Park then to meet June & Denis in Rollingstone We have really enjoyed our time here in The Daintree & Cape Tribulation. I have forgotton to put in the Cape Tribulation but will include them next time as I don't know how to add them now Bye Roberta & keith

This flathead was netted by some aboringals ( in background of photo ) They gave it to Keith & it was beautiful to eat. Oh we are now at Wonga Beach in the Daintree
