Well folks we are now home from a wonderful 3 months in Qld. What a great trip we had.After we left Iris ( sister ) we had 3 weeks in Woolgoolga with John, Glenice, Ann, Joe Beverley & Con Margaret. Keith, John & Con swam each morning at 7am then we all spent the rest of the day together eating, walking, shopping etc. The time at Woolgoolga was a rest time after all the travelling. We left woolgoolga a week early as the weather turned bad & Keith wanted to come home to see the bash cars as they came to Warragul this year on route to Tasmania. We should have left a few days before we did but weren;t really going to till the last minuite. This is David's 4th or 5th bash & he loves going, He has been trying to get them to come to Warragul for a couple of years now.

So bye from us & hope you have enjoyed sharing our trip with us.Will try & find out how NOT to double up on everything before we go to Tasmania early next year LOVE TO ALL KEITH & ROBERTA

Some of our Caravan Club members as well as a few others. These folk were staying at another Caravan Park near where we are. We all went out to lunch to celeberate Lois's 70th Birthday. We went to a place called Nana Glen lovely spot.

I went into a scone makeing comp here at our park & I came 3rd place ( not too bad eh )

We had a BBQ & potatoes cooked in the fire .

We are having a good time with John Glenice, Joe Ann, Con , Margaret & Bev here at Woolgoolga alough we are starting to think of home a lot. ( nearly time for home when that happens )

We have really enjoyed our time with our Salvo Caravan Club friends as well .Harry & Loris leave on Monday & the others have another week. We have another 2 weeks or so here. Keith is enjoying his swims with John & Con at 7am most mornings. We have been meeting in Bev's cabin some nights for a lot of fun playing some games ( Rummy oh & Sequence ) some times we do our own thing. The walks along the beach are also enjoyed.

The bananas are still expensive here we thought they would have come down as they are grown here not in Qld. 

Wed we will have a BBQ which the caravan park puts on. We had a morning tea today with the scone comp which was good. Time for our walk so Bye for now Love Roberta & keith

Hi folks well we haven't taken any more new photos sorry. We have had a week at Kinka Beach ( between Yeppoon & Emu Park) during our time there we caught up with Sandra & Art Anker ( Sandra grew up in the home with keith ) We also spent a lot of time with Pam & Jeff Coulston who are members of the Gippsland caravan Club as we are.We helped Pam & Jeff celeberate their 50th wedding anniversary by going out  for dinner with 2 other couples & had a Thai meal ( really lovely ) then we came on down to visit my sister in Hervey bay & had 6 nights with her It was good to see her again. We diden't do a lot there as we have done a lot of the sight seeing on other visits. We just had a rest alough keith did a bit of wipper snipping & cleaning of her drive way. Then we came here to Woolgoolga (about 25 kms north of Coffs Harbour ) on Monday staying overnight at Evans Head lOVE TO ALL rOBERTA & KEITH

We enjoyed our time in the Daintree then we went to a place called Paronella Park which is the ruins of a spanish Castle. The first owner built all the castle after he came to Australia as a young man. He built all of it using materials he found in & around the area

Denis June & Roberta at Rollinhstone which is about 55kms north of Townsville. We had a wonderful time for a week here with June & Denis. We loved the park & the surrounds. We are seen here at morning tea time ( note the scones ) We went to the paluma Ranges one day walked about 1.5 klm walk up the range & back so got our exercise that day. We also went to Frosty Mango that day on the way back what devine ice cream & yoguart  We also had a day in Townsville June & I got lost in the shopping centre & had to come outside & walk all around the outside till we found the car & Denis & Keith. It was great to see someone from home.

We then moved to Airlie Beach & Shute Harbour for 1 night

taken today on our way to Rockhampton where we are staying for 2 nights.  So as you see we are having a good time alough at times we miss home believe it or not. anyhow that is all fvor now Love Roberta & Keith
